Mr. D's Page

My name is Joe Dzielski. The students will usually call me Mr. D. In 2017 (my 11th year here!), I took over teaching Technology here at Catholic Academy. I am also learning the ropes as the one who maintains the technology. I’ve been the school's Primary Coordinator for the past several years as well. In this role I take care of incidents involving students in grades K – 3. Previously I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 1st grades. Before I became a full time teacher, I was a substitute in the Lockport City School District and at the former St. Dominic Savio Middle School. I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Niagara University. In addition, I have a degree in Accounting. I have very much enjoyed my time in Catholic education, and I am grateful that this opportunity opened up for me.

I have three amazing children, ages 7 – 15. I am proud to say all of my children have been a part of Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls. The Catholic identity this school has helped me, as a parent, build for my family means so much. I love sports and am involved in adult softball leagues. I get to spend a great deal of my time watching my kids play sports now, and I love every second of it!!!

As a member of the Catholic Academy faculty, I have enjoyed many of the activities available to our students. I am one of the Student Council Advisors, I lead the school's Newspaper Club, and I have coached Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball, as well as soccer. Presently I just coach the Girl’s Basketball team!!!
